Mike, Simon and James perform well at National Champs

Huge congratulations to our three ECH athletes who have been competing in national competitions this weekend (27th and 28th July).

Mike Coogan (pictured right) and Simon Owens (pictured left) were in action at the British Masters championships. Mike was crowned double sprint champion in the V50 100 and 200m, good preparation for the impending World masters champs in Sweden in August. Simon competed in a new discipline this season, finishing with a well deserved silver medal in the V55 triple jump.

Back at the younger end, and James Harney finished a credible 8th place in the England combined evens champs, with a PB performance of 5912 points. Well done to all three athletes on fantastic performances.
