Double Gold for Lily!
East Cheshire sprinter Lily Murphy had a brilliant track season and was selected to represent England at the Welsh Under 20 International event at Cardiff Athletics Stadium on 26th August 2023.
Lily competed in the 100m and 4 x 100m relay. Lily produced a sterling performance to win the 100m race with a time of 12.09 in a very close dip for the line. Lily went on to take another Gold helping the England team to victory in the 4 x 100m relay.
An amazing experience which will stand Lily in good stead for the future!
