North West Road Relays 2023
The annual North West Road relays took place on Saturday 9th September at Heaton Park.
We had a brilliant turnout with a whopping 26 teams entered over the different age groups from under 11 to Seniors.
Highlights were the below teams winning medals in Greater Manchester:
Under 13 girls 2nd (Demi Baxter, Erin McMahon, Molly Holness)
Under 15 boys 2nd (Marshall Fleet, Oliver Walker, Alfie Manser)
Senior Women 3rd (Emilia Platt, Katie Kay, Hayley Simpson)
Senior Men 3rd (Joe Hudak, Liam Browne, Gareth Raven, Harry Hind)
Also great to see great performances from the under 11 boys and girls with the under 11 boys A team just missing out on medals finishing a brilliant 4th place in GM (Ronnie Rimmer, Harry Brid, Jack Chorley).
Thanks to all the team managers, parents etc. for their support on a very hot day!
Later that evening ECH member Allan Cooke et al organised a social evening at the club involving many fun activities and games. It was a brilliant evening, thanks to all who turned up and picture attached is some of our relay medallists letting their hair down!
