England age group Indoor Champs

The England age group champs were held this over the weekend of 8/9th Feb in Sheffield and in the final major indoor competition this season. Three ECH athletes achieved the standard to compete at this prestigious event to compete against the best athletes in the UK, the first major event all three have competed in. On the Saturday, U17 Max Ormston had an early start in the 60m and was placed in a strongly contested heat but after a blistering start finished in a credible 4th place running a PB in the process.

On the Sunday, Olivia Jones and 2nd claim Bella Robinson competed in the 60m hurdles. Liv won her heat to gain automatic qualification into the semis with Bella running a PB in her heat to earn her place in the semis. Another round of hurdling with both athletes excelling with Liv making the final where she finished a credible 6th place and a national 6th place ranking to finish her indoor season. Well done to all athletes. Your performances were just deserved of all the hard work you put into training and you should be proud of your achievements.
